Lenten Worship Series:
The Way.
All are welcome. Come as you are. Walk at your own pace.
-
This Lent, the United Methodist Church of Gales Ferry invites you to walk a shared path inspired by the film, The Way. Through story, silence, and reflection, we’ll explore what it means to keep moving when life takes an unexpected turn—when grief reshapes the road, when faith feels uncertain, or when the way forward is not clear. You do not need to have answers or church experience. Lent is a season for honesty, companionship, and discovering what comes next.

UMCGF Featured in the New England Conference Newsletter
The July New England Conference newsletter featured an article on Ron Miller, Frank Denton, Stephanie Cyr, Beth Bohara, and the rest of our Summer mission trip team to Vermont. Beth Dicoco, the Conference Director of Communication, spent a day with us during our mission trip week at the camp, visiting our work sites to prepare this article. When I asked, her hope was to inspire other United Methodists around the conference to join in this recovery and repair effort because it is work that cannot be done by one person or one church alone. When we come together, we can make a bigger impact.
