The United Methodist Church has a long standing legacy of innovation and cultivation in music and worship arts. This program’s mission is to enhance the worship experience and further glorify God for all who wish to participate and witness through music, visual arts, dance drama and media. All are welcome.

Musical Small Groups

  • Drama Ministry

    UMCGF’s Drama Ministry program spans generations and comes together for acts of worship during services, as well as for dramatic opportunities outside of the worship setting.

  • Chancel Choir

    UMCGF has a long standing choral tradition dating back over half a century, performing both traditional and modern repertoire to enhance and vary the worship experience on Sunday mornings.

    Our Chancel Choir is a very diverse group of individuals including engineers, teachers, scientists, crafters and professional musicians. All are welcome to join for a 9:15 rehearsal before worship at 10:30 each Sunday during the program year.

  • The Guitars

    UMCGF is blessed to have such a musical church family! Our guitar group was formed in 2023 and currently has six members.

  • Handbell Choir

    The United Methodist Handbell Choir is a five, that is right, FIVE octave handbell choir which has been a thriving part of our music ministry at UMCGF for over 30 years. They ring in worship regularly throughout the program year and out in the community as well . They rehearse on Tuesday evenings.

  • Jubilation Dancers

    The Jubilation Dancers have been an active dance ministry at the United Methodist Church for over 30 years.

  • Contemporary Ensemble

    The Contemporary Ensemble was developed for those who love close harmonies, unusual time signatures and occasionally singing a cappella. Unlike chancel choir this group rehearses during the week in preparation for singing in worship.

  • Festive Brass

    The festive brass spands generations and comes together to play for all the special ocaasions in the life of the church.
