Live Wires is our elementary-aged (K-grade 5) Sunday school class. They meet for an hour on Sunday morning to explore different aspects of the Bible. Each Sunday starts with a period of group singing, followed by about 45 minutes of short, age-appropriate interactive Bible-based lessons and reinforcing activities such as games, crafts, and stories. Activities during and after regular Sunday School and Church hours help class members connect with our congregation, encourage socializing, and allow participation in Sunday School-sponsored missions projects. Mutual respect and acceptance are emphasized in this class in an effort to provide a safe, judgment-free environment for members of all skills and abilities to learn more about God and to strengthen their relationships with Him.Live Wires
Fully Charged is our Sunday school class for grades 6-12. They meet for an hour on Sunday morning to explore different aspects of the Bible. Spiritual Development
Entering the third grade is an important milestone in a child’s life. We mark this moment by presenting our students with their own bible, to study as the continue their journey in faith.
Third Grade Bible Dedication
Confirmation in the United Methodist Church of Gales Ferry is not a graduation from education but an ignition of the flame. Our youth 12 + take this opportunity to publicly reclaim their faith, remember their baptism and are charged to go out and live that faith.
